When necessary, Ms. Kelly prosecutes civil rights violations
under Title VII, based on gender and race, and under
the ADEA, based on age discrimination, and she prosecutes
wrongful discharge or breach of contract cases and overtime
cases. The firm provides representation in unemployment
appeals, files charges with the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission or Colorado Civil Rights Division, and represents
federal employees before the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission and Merit Systems Protection Board.
Nora V. Kelly also works on behalf of employers, by
providing consultation concerning confidentiality/trade
secret agreements, offer letters, employee manuals,
employment agreements, termination issues, and severance
issues and agreements. The firm represents employers
responding to discrimination charges made to the Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission and the Colorado Civil
Rights Division. In addition, Ms. Kelly represents employers
before the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment
concerning claims of unpaid wages or in unemployment
compensation appeals. Ms. Kelly will appear as counsel
for the employer at arbitrations.
