Attorney Profile

Nora V. Kelly grew up in Denver, Colorado. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Colorado State University and a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from Ohio University. She went on to attend the University of Denver School of Law, where she served on Law Review. Following graduation from law school in 1986, she clerked for Colorado Court of Appeals judge for one year and then went into private practice. She began her career in the area of commercial litigation and, in 1990, began specializing in the area of employment law.

Ms. Kelly is a member of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations, the American Bar Association, the National Employee Lawyers Association, the Plaintiff Employee Lawyers Association, and the Alliance of Professional Women.

Nora V. Kelly’s experience covers a broad spectrum of employment law. Our firm handles matters that include state and municipal employee constitutional rights and termination and disciplinary appeals; We also represent private employees in cases of wrongful termination, breach of contract, discrimination (race, gender, disability, age), harassment, retaliation, whistle-blowing, unemployment appeals, and arbitrations.
